Our History

2000-2003

The early years

2000

Our first Asset Protection operation was established in Kosovo. Where we provided secure logistics solutions to the United Nations Administration.

2002

We entered the Lloyd’s of London Insurance market, providing Crisis Response services to a number of Special Risk underwriters.

2003

We expanded our Asset Protection services for the United Nations in Iraq.

2010-2014

2012

Our Asset Protection division continued to develop, providing physical security and security risk management services to the extractive sector in Mauritania.

2013

Our Insight and Investigations division was developed, supporting the legal market, private clients and due dilligence.

2015-2018

Building for the future

2015

Our Asset Protection division continued to expand across Western Africa and in Liberia, supporting diplomatic, extractive and NGO clients with security risk management, physical security and armed protection.

2017

Our Central and Eastern Africa headquarters was established in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Our Consulting division also grew, with high-level public affairs, government liaison and strategic advice becoming part of the core Henderson portfolio.

2018

Our brand started to evolve.
